Smoky

Smoky is a seating family for Doimo Brasil: a dining chair and a lounge armchair built on the same idea. A soft leather shell wraps around a solid wood frame, and the joint between the two is left in view, a small tab that holds the shell to each leg.

The stitched seams follow the curve of the back, so both pieces look as finished from behind as from the front. The armchair widens the shell and lowers the seat for the living room, while the chair keeps the proportions of the dining table.
